What does transitional mean? In order to certify a field as organic and subsequently the crop that is grown on that field, a field needs to be farmed with organic farming practices for a 3 year time period. This is called a transitional phase, transitional fields and transitional crop.

Our transitional crop is therefor grown without the use of chemicals or pesticides!
